Shop Rocket

A derogatory term main used among craftsmen who are members of trade unions. Describes a member who is a real “company man/woman”. An employee who is dedicated to one contractor and would rather satisfy their employer than show dedication to their brothers/sisters. Often seen bringing their own power tools to work, driving their personal vehicle to do company work in (hauling materials, etc), working extra hard to impress their foreman, etc. Will rat you out in a heartbeat. Don’t trust a shop rocket.

To be in need of or in desire of an ace to be shown on the flop, turn, or river. Rocket Shopping may sometimes cause poker players to become oblivious to the other player's hands although other players may be Rocket Shopping as well
