Sideways pineapple
In the mid 17th century, pineapples were a status symbol and used to represent royalty. French priest Father Du Tertre christened them the "king of fruits", likening the top of the fruit to a crown. A sideways pineapple symbolizes the toppling of a monarchy or the beginning of a revolution.
Paul Revere Jr. left a sideways pineapple on my porch. Prepare for battle!
