释义

Slejmunki

A fictional primate God that shows up just before a storm. Comparable to the Norse God of thunder, Thor. Slejmunki has been described by tribesmen and witch doctors as the creator of “crashing sounds from the sky” local priests would claim to be “ordained” through hearing their name being whispered during a storm, especially while thunder echoed through the hills, most rituals of this obscure tribe would consist of bowing low to the ground during thunderstorms, and letting the rain splash into their mouths from the ground, they believed that the earth was made up of the flesh and bones of all their ancestors, and by consuming the soil would enlighten them and bring knowledge past down from past generations.

slejmunki

A fictional primate God who was believed by tribesmen to be the God of Thunder (much like the Norse God Thor) also a God of rhythm and music. During a thunder storm you could hear him pounding his chest. Local priest and shaman believed one would be “ordained” by hearing their name being whispered during the crashing of thunder. Villagers would bow down and welcome the rain especially during dry seasons, and hold their heads close to the ground so that the rain splashing would splash dirt into their mouths. The belief much like voodoo was the soil was made up of the bones and flesh of their ancestors, and by consuming the soil, it would bring them knowledge and wisdom from past generations. And so Slejmunki was the giver of music, rhythm, and knowledge.
