Slushboarding
Originating in Rogers Park, Chicago; Slushboarding is a Winter sport in which the athlete removes hardware from a skateboard (using simply the "deck") and performs tricks and stunts on fresh snow ("powder") or weathered "slush" (melting ice and snow). Common tricks include: board slides on ledges or rails, 180" or 360" rotations, pop shove-its and general "big air" off of large, snowy gaps.
Yo, it's the first snowfall of the year, let's rip the trucks off of our boards and go slushboarding!
