俚语 beneficiaries
释义

Beneficiaries

Another term for Hispanic children.
Those little beneficiaries.

beneficiary

one who benefits from something; a person who is left money or other property in a will or the like
man this dude is beneficiary just like sacagawea

reciprocal beneficiary

A reciprocal beneficiary is a type of legal arrangement that is offered in some states, such as Hawaii, whereby two non-married people can assign some, but not all, of the rights of married couples to one another.
John and Matt were a gay couple in Hawaii, but could not legally marry each other or form a civil union/domestic partnership. So Matt designated John as his reciprocal beneficiary to at least get a few rights.

Secondary Beneficiary

When someone orders food that's shareable but meant for only that one person, moochers who want some part/portion for themselves call "secondary beneficiary" like one would call "shotgun" to claim a seat in a vehicle, when preparing for a ride. Roommates, friends, and family are notorious for such moochery.
Christine ordered a pizza for herself and tried to keep quiet about it. As soon as it arrived at her house, her little brother called secondary beneficiary.

Beneficiary cookbook

An unhealthy eating cookbook for people who want to see their inheritance sooner so they feed their relatives food from such cookbook. Meant to be a joke but very insensitive and sickening.
John: I can't stand your mother. She says all these racist terms for Jewish people or Black people and calls people out when she sits on the porch. Totally embarrassing.

Sally: Yes I know. Regardless, I want to take care of her.

John: I know. You're a good daughter but perhaps it would be best if we would feed her from the beneficiary cookbook.

Sally: What the hell? That's my mother you're talking about, you asshole.
