snout house
A house where a large garage protrudes from the main body of the house towards the street. Often the driveway and garage are the only connection to the street or easement. One must usually walk through the driveway to get to the front door of the house. The resulting curb view resembles a snout or nose. This new method of home design is usually found in McMansions or other cheaply built homes in generic subdivisions anywhere in the US.
Have you seen the new rows of snout houses they are building next to the strip mall.
