To share spouses/mates with another to the point of digital and/or oral copulation only.

This term comes from the home of Stephen, SuperGenius, who invented it spontaneously while referring to timid wanna-be swingers unwilling to take the PLUNGE

This is terminology in the swinging community. A soft-swapping couple means only the females do the swapping and only with other females.

"Soft-Swappers" are the majority of swinging couples since, more often than not, the male husband is not bisexual.
