Sportsure
Sportsure is when the teams you love lead you through a great regular season and build up your expectations but then torture you during playoff season by finding unexpected and cruel ways to get eliminated and to break your heart.
We experience sportsure in DC every year in dealing with the losing Capitals, Nationals and now the UVA basketball team. The higher the expectations, the greater the sportsure when your team is eliminated.
