A vehicle technician of high grade or quality. Typically 'over-diagnoses' problems, resulting in wiring repairs, reprogramming PCMs, or pretending to repair vehicles. Usually spotted with his DRB scanner.

A Super Tech is a technician that has supreme knowledge in The industrial automation and controls industry. Not to be confused with a loop shooter or even worse an electrical tech. Super techs are a rare breed typically called in on days off to fix something an engineer screwed up. They are the highest paid on the job and for good reason. If you find a pair of his used gloves put them on, you might soak up some of his excellence.
