Sussyphrenia
A mental illness consisting of constantly seeing Among Us Crewmate-related forms, wether it is a physical item, a reflection, a cloud, or even hallucinations. As of now, it is not included in the mental illness registry.
Patients often scream the same pattern of words such as "When the impostor is sus!" or even simply "Amogus!" and will never stop seeing impostors around them. Terminal symptoms include patients claiming to be impostors and attempting to murder nearby people who they say are "crewmates".
A more detailed research made by the person behind this definition is available right down below:
It is kind of similar to pareidolia, which is the tendency for perception to impose a meaningful interpretation on a nebulous stimulus, usually visual, so that one sees an object, pattern or meaning where there is none, except here, the subject will never stop seeing "amogus", and the image will become stuck in his head, forever. There currently is no cure, and it's already been more than 7 months or so (as of July) since the illness was discovered. Many scientists are trying to find a cure, but it's just like schizophrenia. We'll probably never find one, as the memory of the crewmate is graved within the subject's mind. The only way of removing this cursed illness would be to erase the memory of any subject, which is very cruel. We could also try to minimize the amount of crewmateolic items (items resembling the Impostor from among us).
did i really type all that
