Bierjunge
Bierjunge (english: beer boy) refers to a student custom of competitive drinking of beer, as still practiced today in German fraternities.
The goal is to drink a glass filled with beer in the shortest time and to be faster than the opponent.The vessels range from 0.3 liters to 1.8 liters of beer, in rare exceptional cases crispers or champagne coolers are also used. Often, the beer boy is accompanied by a verbal argument in which both opponents want to demonstrate their superiority.
