Glen Keane served as the supervising animator for Tarzan as an adult, while John Ripa animated Tarzan as an infant and child. John Ripa studied the movements of young chimpanzees to use for young Tarzan's animation. Brian Blessed provided the Tarzan yell, while Goldwyn provided Tarzan's speaking voice.

This Tarzan (Disney) is different from Edgar Rice Burroughs' original interpretation of Tarzan, because of his rather animalistic movements and relatively heavy emotional intelligence. He can climb and yell too! He also has diversabilities. He also beats his Tarzan tits with his fists.
