the juicy show
The Juicy Show aired on WGSU, 89.3 the Revolution from 1999-2003. The host of the show, Dj Du, held down the only hip hop show that SUNY Geneseo's radio station had for 4 years. Now, the station features many more hip hop shows and includes them in rotation.
But the juicy show was more than a hip hop show. It featured a playlist of (international) music that was delectable and fun to listen to; often focused on the beaty, rhythmic sounds found in Indian, Spanish, Electronic, and Reggae music. The Juicy Show is rumored to make a comeback on the air via podcast.
