The L Bomb is the action (usually in teen relationships) of saying 'I love you' to someone you've been dating or know well and like a lot, dropping the l bomb is a massive deal, mostly for guys as a lot of teenage girls are assholes and when this occurs are prone to saying things like: 'aww, thanks' or 'you're so sweet' and sometimes even 'you know, I think we should just be friends'
Guy: I love you.
Girl: Aww, that's soo sweet.

Guy's Friend: So did you drop the l bomb?
Guy: Yeah, but she totally friendzoned me.

L bomb

When someone unexpectedly tells you that they love you. Usually comes out of the blue when you least expect it and are not prepared to respond.
Dude! Shannon totally dropped the L bomb on me last night!
