Republic of China national day is held on October 10 annually to commemorate 1911 Wuchang Uprising in Wuhan. This is what Wuhan should be known for: birthplace of the first and only Chinese democracy in history. Wuhan was also original contender for ROC capital which ultimately went to Nanjing until communist invasion resulted in Taipei becoming de facto capital. Wuhan today is known for its punk music scene and best breakfast food in China

Before COVID was a thing, Wuhan was actually quite a nice city. Located in the central region of China, Wuhan is the capital city of the Hubei province and has a population of over 11 million.

This city has a rich history left by ancient Chinese dynasties so you will find many historical structures such as the Yellow Crane Tower.

The city is also situated right beside Yangtze River, the 3rd longest river in the world. The Yangtze River Bridge is also located here, and is the world's 2nd longest suspension bridge.

As for cuisine, Wuhan is mostly known for its soups and noodle dishes.

Though, Wuhan may be the last place you'd want to be during the summer, as temperatures get scorching hot.
