Bill Hicks
A genious. One of the most free-thinking and open-minded people I have ever heard. If you've never seen any of his stand up, do yourself a favor and get the DVD.
Today young men on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one conciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream in which we are the imagination of ourself...here's Tom with the weather.
If you don't think drugs have done good things for us, do me a favor, go home and take all your albums, tapes, cds...and burn them. Cause, you know what, all those musicians who made that great music that has enhanced your lives throughout the years...real fucking high on drugs.

Simply the funniest American stand up, Eddie Murphy Raw was fucking funny but any Bill Hicks is brilliant. This guy was so smart and translated that intelligence into some real funny stuff.
Goatboy was really good as were his judgements on America and its politics.
Bill Hicks
One of the most intellectual, and influential comedians of the past 30 years. Although mainly recognized as a comedian, Bill was also a modern-day philosopher, psychonautic, and a social commentator. Bill's comedy, as well as his idealism, has influenced the likes of Dennis Leary, a fellow comedian, as well as the progressive/acid/technical rock band Tool. Primarily concerned with the spiritual and recreational use of psychedelic drugs, his experiences while on Psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, and Marijuana have led him to form many of his theories on human existence, human condition, and ultimately, the meaning of life. Although not turned on to Politics, Bill served as somewhat of an extreme social commentator, not only to implement his opinions into his work, but to influence the minds of those who watched his comedy. An avid smoker, Bill expressed what appeared to be a semi-hostile, yet funny attitude towards those who opposed smoking (this attitude was also present in popular topics like abortion and governmental foreign policy). A true human being with an intuitive mind surpassed by none, Bill was a legend both in his comedic work, and in modern thinking. He died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 32 on February 26th, 1994.
Roger: Have you ever heard of Bill Hicks?
Bob: No, I haven't.
Roger: That figures, he's pretty underrated. You should check him out.

Bill Hicks
The most influential comedian of all time. He allowed his audiences to see what the true meaning of life was and how no one can tell you how to think. He was a strong advocate for legalizing drugs, especially marijuana, and he hated all mediocrity, in music and otherwise, as well as George Bush. Sadly he died at 32 from pancreatic cancer but he will never be forgotten. RIP
I left in love, in laughter, and in truth, and wherever truth, love and laughter abide, I am there in spirit. - Bill Hicks
Bill Hicks
The late and great. Political commedian/philospher who's topics include, but certainly not limited to:
Proposing a reality show where the objective is to simply hunt and kill Billy Ray Cyrus
Making pot not only legal, but manditory
Questioning, everything, everyone, all the time.
Talking about hidden government agendas and motives.
The simple right of being in control of your body, from what you do to it, what is done inside it and what you do to your own state of consciousness.
Died in 1994 from lung cancer. Inspired bands such as Tool and Radiohead and is listed and regarded as one of the greatest stand ups of all time.

"yeah, i'm going to go pry open my third eye and realize how we're all one shared consciousness experiencing itself subjectively"

Bill Hicks
Bill Hicks was an overrated immoral stand up comic who advocated mandatory recreational drug use.
Bill Hicks said there was no such thing as death so what does it matter that he's dead?

What can we say about Bill Hicks? Was he the greatest comedian whoever lived? no. The most important? possibly. the most outspoken? definitely. Bill hicks was a truly great comedian that has changed the life of everyone who has seen one of his shows, some of his topics were controversial at the time, but none-the-less true. his passionate and honest way of tthinking has inspired other modern greats such as Eddie Izzard. he tragically died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 32. truly a loss for everyone. Best known for his Relentless show.
Bill Hicks: You see that commercial? the heres your brain, heres your brain on drugs? they should put me in charge of that, "thats not your brain it's breakfast! how long we been up now? four days? fucking starving!!!"
