Vegas Style
"Vegas Style" means ordering a mixed drink in separate glasses. For example: A vodka and cranberry ordered "Vegas Style" would be served as a double shot of vodka and a glass of cranberry juice on the side.
In many bars, if you order a vodka and cranberry, there tends to be much more cranberry juice than vodka. By ordering them "Vegas Style" the bar can't cheat you because the alcohol is served in a separate glass, making it obvious how much they are giving you.
The reason it is called "Vegas Style" is because that's the best way to order cocktails in Las Vegas since some bars there tend to go light on the alcohol in mixed drinks.
