vimpact
Slang for "visual impact". Vimpact describes the perceived amount of completed work on a given project, as opposed to the actual amount of work that has been accomplished. i.e. Painting a house has a large amount of vimpact, whereas redoing the electric and plumbing systems has none. It can be important to space out higher vimpact portions of a job to appear hard-working.
Changing the fucking background color of my website had more vimpact than rewriting the entire CMS from scratch. I don't know why I even bothered...
