Visaphobia
Visaphobia encompasses a range of negative attitudes and feelings, like fear and anxiety, toward travel when visa is required. Visaphobia is especially common among travelers from disadvantaged countries (e.g. Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, etc...) whose citizens need a visa in most destinations they want to visit.
Abdul suffers from Visaphobia because he is Syrian and he always has to apply to visas wherever he travels. They are not e-visas which makes the paperwork complicated so he avoids business and leisure travel as much as possible.
Visaphobia
Visaphobia encompasses a range of negative attitudes and feelings, mainly fear and anxiety, toward visa applications, the paperwork related to visas, or when immigration officers evaluate the visa in the airport. Visaphobia is common in individuals with nationalities requiring visas to travel everhwere (e.g. Afghans, Syrians, Yemenis, etc...).
Due to visaphobia, Abdul avoids business and leisure travel because he is unable to cope with the anxiety and fear related to visa rejections and extra travel steps.
