Young West Coast
A term first introduced in 2015 by artist Black Atlass on his album “Jade”. The definition of this phrase is up to an individuals own interpretation, but could be defined as:
1. A feeling of deep love for someone
2. To refer to someone viewed as a soulmate
3. Someone beautiful and breath-taking
As Black Atlass puts it,
“I live you, I breathe you, I feel you, like paradise. You’re my ocean view; only you got me feeling like paradise. Cause baby you’re my young west coast” (Taken from “Young West Coast” by Black Atlass)
This term is gender neutral as Black Atlass has used it both to refer to himself in regards to someone else, and used it to refer to (presumably) a woman.
