His Land Cruiser and Toyota Hilux is the two pillars of his life that keeps everything together. Uses the phrase, "women belong in the kitchen" a lot.

Boertjies think they are though and strong and usually pretends to be a farmer, but drives a 2x4 Hilux around the city and their pants are too tight.

A traditional boertjie outfit consists of: Vellies, leg warmers to keep the ticks away when they are shopping, a Boerboel short that is way to tight, any graphic T-Shirt and an oversized K-Way jacket.
