俚语 briwi's
释义

Briwi

A Briwi (pronounced Bree-wee) is a British citizen, whom having tired of the UK, has moved to New Zealand in search of a better life. On arrival, they have become obsessed with the place, and are often heard talking extremely loudly about their recent outdoor pursuits. Not every Brit in NZ is a Briwi but one whom can regularly be seen in as much katmandhu apparel as possible and is regularly heard shouting "I went off piste the other day and the powdah was amazing" almost certainly is a Briwi. Be warned, Briwi's in the wild are easy to spot but often difficult to engage due to their preference for sticking as close as possible to other Briwis. Other Briwi past times include using facebook as a medium to show off to folk back home about just how exciting their new life is. Briwi hotspots include Sumner (CHCH) and the north shore where they compete for territory with South African ex patriots.
I couldn't get on the ski lift due to congestion caused by Briwis.
