俚语 brotuity
释义

Brotuity

(noun) - a tip given by a group of bros at a restaurant or bar, typically in the form of a large wad of crumpled bills that they toss onto the table as they leave. Brotuities are often given as a show of bravado and to demonstrate the bros' perceived wealth and generosity. However, they are often inadequate and do not reflect the actual value of the service provided. Brotuities are also known to cause confusion and annoyance among the staff, who are left to divide up the messy pile of bills among themselves.
"After a night of drinking and shouting, the bros left a brotuity that was barely enough to cover the cost of their drinks, let alone the tip for their overworked server."
