俚语 burrowphile
释义

burrowphile

A positive term for someone who enjoys spending time at home more than travelling (as compared to off-putting names like 'homebody' and 'homester'). A burrowphile is not against travelling and acknowledges that it’s a beautiful thing to meet new places and people, but would rather spend that time at home.
1. Don't talk about wanderlust to Jack, he's a true burrowphile

2. You never get bored of sitting at home? Wow, you must be a real burrowphile.
