When being followed or sought by ne'er-do-wells, to hide in an effort to elude them and then to spring upon them, unawares, thus turning the tales upon them. From the Endo-Baracoan word "Caracas" meaning "to pounce upon" and "ass" referring to the posterior region...literlly "to pounce on your ass".

A phase primarily heard in some ares of Texas.
