celldipping
The process of being on a conference call on a cell phone and dipping in and out of stores very quickly to find quiet areas to talk so people aren't aware where your actual location is or to get away from the street noise. Commonly used during very early morning conference calls when you don't want to be in the office, but don't want to give the impression that you're not on site. On the street you're on mute, dip into the store, unmute phone, speak, mute and walk back out onto the noisy street.
Also, pretending you're looking at menus or merchandise, while talking on the phone in these stores as to "buy time" for your phone call.

Man, I was celldipping this morning, in and out of stores on 5th Avenue. I even celldipped into this church!
