俚语 chalk walk
释义

Chalk Walk

refers to a Cross Walk that has been manually drawn in by a resident, or group of residents, using chalk to provide a safe spot for them to cross the road in their own neighborhood. Something one would typically find on a road that doesn't have speed bumps to slow down cars or just where ever one feels the need to make cars stop for them while they cross the road.
teenager: "Man, I'm tired of all these cars going 35 up and down my street. I can't even cross the road without feeling like I'm about to get hit."

friend: "Dude I was about to go out to the store, I'll pick up some chalk and we'll draw a Chalk Walk later this afternoon."

teenager: "That's whatsup. Get some other people too so that sh*t doesn't take forever to draw."
