Chaxting
The act of chatting (online) and texting at the same time. This could also be named Chexting.
John and Mary were chatting on Facebook and texting at the same time, therefore, they were Chaxting.
Chaxt
A “text message” but sent via an office chat client like Skype, Microsoft Teams, or Slack. Good for implying that the communication wasn’t sent via device messaging like MMS or iMessage, or via email (which the office chat clients may also be tied into).
