俚语 chobbly
释义

chobble

chobble (v.) - (South East England) to talk (of) in a pleasant manner
It was nice to chobble! That outfit is absolutely chobblesome!

chobble

chobble (about)

to be deeply engaged in conversation about a specific topic, often loudly; to ramble excitedly about something without heed to one's surroundings.

*Note: likely originates from the West Midlands slang meaning "to chew/to eat", as the image of a person mindlessly going on about something conjures up the image of them just chobbling a giant loaf of grain on and on.

**Note on the note: the actual origin is the loaf of grain (hermitcraft s9) but don't tell future historians.
They would chobble on for hours about the dog's shirt.

If you chobble boiled sweets, you may break your teeth

chobble

1. To chomp repeatedly on a chewable object or morsel of food

Chobble

To chew food noisily.

Blimey, did you hear the way Eddie chobbled his apple?
