Afro-Mexican
The term Afro-Mexican (Spanish: afro-mexicano) refers to Mexican citizens who are black or of African descent. Afro-Mexicans have historically been majorities in certain communities in Mexico. Although now largely assimilated in the population, they are concentrated mainly in coastal states such as Guerrero, Oaxaca, and Veracruz. there are also Afro-mexicans spread throughout parts of mexico (for example, Arenal, Jalisco is a small town that is heavily Afro-mexican.)
