Covid-🇨🇷
When Costa Rica becomes the first country in the world to make it mandatory for children to be vaccinated, with about 1.5 million doses to be given to those aged five to 11—vaccination with apparently no serious side effects in this age group would arguably help stop infected children from spreading the virus to others.
Even if the US has approved the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine for 28 million young Americans, making it mandatory for children in red states would further polarize the nation, because a Covid-🇨🇷 template would face strong parental opposition in the name of freedom of choice and due to the risk of juvenile death.
