Cyrus Goodman
The first gay main and first gay male character on Disney Channel (US) and the first character to say the word "I'm gay" in all of Disney branded media from the hit series Andi Mack, which has received a GLAAD award for his storyline. He is played by Joshua Rush.
Cyrus is a Jewish middle school student. He is best friends with Andi Mack (the titular character) and Buffy Driscoll, nicknaming their friend group the Good Hair Crew. He can be quite awkward, nervous, and self-deprecating, but he's incredibly kind, supportive, funny, and has a tendency to be a bit dramatic. He is always there for others and wants to see the good in everyone. Over the course of the show, he becomes much more confident. He goes from being afraid of his feelings for a boy to proudly but casually coming out as gay to his former crush, Jonah Beck.
