Dead page
Dead Page: Pages in a textbook in which there are no pictures, examples, or figures to take away from the pure, concentrated reading grind. Usually used in context with lots of sighs and long note taking assignments for school.
Student: Dude, did you finish the note assignment last night for AP Euro?
Dude: Yeah, and it took like 3 hours. There were at least 3 dead pages.
