The AK-103 is replacing the AK-74.
AK-103
God's own anti-son-of-a-bitch machine. It shoots the 7.62x39mm round of the AK-47, but is technologically built around the 5.45x39mm AK-74. The weapon is substantially more accurate than the 47, being effective to around 500 yards. It has the muzzle break of the AK-74, reducing recoil, and a fire rate of 600R.P.M. As with all AK's, be careful where you get your ammunition and your gun from, because of the wide variety of quality between makers. It is best to get these weapons directly from the Izmash (or is it Izmesh) website to guarantee a quality manufactuter.
I'm waiting till I'm done with college, then I'm getting myself a Kalashnikov AK-103 and fuck anyone who thinks it's a shitty gun.
