Dirt muffin
A person or animal that is filthy, but that you otherwise find endearing and love.
Ex. (talking to cat) "Mr. Buttons, what HAVE you been doing?!? You look like a total dirt muffin!!"
Ex. "I love you, but you look like a dirt muffin. Go shower before we go out for drinks."
