Half way between a discussion and an argument. A heated discussion and mild argument.

Also known as a "we need to talk" situation. It means you're in trouble, or you're being dumped... you poor, poor dear.

Term used on forums by people that don't have anything useful to say and are asking other people to reply with something useful which they can absorb in their more than likely empty head.
