the word that everyone forgets means to duck under something and has nothing to do with ducks when autocorrect ducks up your day.

The act of ignoring or hiding, particularly from a person or place.

occurs when abusing downers(opiates, benzos, ambien, etc...) one will fall asleep for a few seconds, sometimes even a few minutes, and wake back up as their head falls forward. this occurs over and over again resulting in the user looking as though their head is bobbing up and down. much like a ducks head bob's up and down outside the water as they look for food.
