alpina
Luxury, in-house-out-house to BMW. Similar to AMG (Mercedes-Benz), Lister (Various), Tickford (Aston Martin), TWR (Jaguar mainly).
Alpina M3 rocks.
Alpina
Unlike the BMW’s M Division, Alpina was an out-of-house tuner specifically for BMW models from the 1960’s until they were acquired by BMW in a 2022 deal which is to take effect in 2025.
Alpinas were only sold in outside of the United States market except for the 2000 BMW Z8 and then started selling the US market through BMW dealers starting around 2011.
Alpinas are designed to be the most luxurious and most powerful versions of the BMW model. Alpinas are also very rare with roughly only 2000 imported to the US market per model over a set of years. They are essentially an exotic BMW.
One example: 2016 Alpina B6. 600 hp 590 tq. 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. 1/4 mile in 11.6 seconds.
MSRP $135,000

Woah, Chad got an Alpina. I’ve never seen one in person.
