俚语 extraverage
释义

Extraverage

An average person is someone with a delightfully offbeat or odd look on life or way of doing things. An extraverage person, therefore, is someone who does these things, but on a much grander scale.
Person 1: Can you think of any extraverage people? I want to write a really weird report for my history teacher.

Person 2: Well, Lord Byron once brought a bear to his school and walked it around campus on a leash. I'd say that's extraverage.

Person 1: Yeah, it is, but I forgot to mention that the report has to be about someone who is still alive.

Person 2: No problem. How about Noel Godin? He's a French dude who goes around flinging pies at famous people.

Person 1: Awesome!
