I finally clued-in to what is meant by all the recent ‘FANs’ I’m getting at the end of emails.

A person who has interest or likes something, or somebody. Can refer to many things including sports, movie stars, food/drink and so on. Basically anybody that likes something.

A fan is simply a person who has never met you or they might have and they are obsessed with your life. they simply can't keep your name out of their mouth. They might know u but they still a fan because they love talking abt you when y'all don't even talk like that....

Someone who claims to have participated and excelled in every sport as an adolescent, yet isn’t good enough to participate in any sport at a collegiate level. This person seems to interject his opinion as if it were a fact when watching a sport, yet his reference/expertise holds no HOH. He borrows ASU athletic gear from his roommates so that it seems he was part of something special, when in fact, he is a marathon spectator!
