Fleur De Lis
1. The fleur-de-lis or fleur-de-lys (plural: fleurs-de-lis) is a stylized lily (in French, fleur means flower, and lis means lily) or iris that is used as a decorative design or symbol. It may be "at one and the same time, political, dynastic, artistic, emblematic, and symbolic", especially in heraldry.
2. A symbol on t-shirts, jewelry, tattoos, etc. - worn only by douchey men who feel the need to fulfill some urge to look as if they paid an excessive amount of money to look fancy for the ladies. (usually paired with ultra-gelled hair & a man tan)

Fleur de Lis Ball
A debutante ball in St. Louis, MO. Debutantes are from the most prestigious families of St. Louis and are presented to society and the archbishop during their first year of college. Most girls are second, third, or fourth generation debutantes and attended private high schools in St. Louis. Throughout high school they take dancing and etiquette lessons in preparation for the ball. Proceeds from the ball benefit Cardinal Glennon.
