fotzei
A term used to describe the act of indulging in pleasant daydreams or fantasies, often while staring off into the distance. This word is derived from the Yiddish word "fotzen," meaning to muse or daydream. Fotzei can be a useful and refreshing mental break during the day, but it is important not to let it interfere with important tasks or responsibilities.
Whenever I need a break from work, I like to take a few minutes to fotzei and imagine myself on a tropical beach.
