Gratch

A catchall word that can mean most things, but is often a negative term. Also used as an exclamation of excitement.
1. Henry really gratched in his race yesterday, he won by 30 seconds.
2. Nick says that his shins are gratched from the workout yesterday.
3. We got toilet paper and gratched their house.
4. GO GO GO! GRATCH!

Gratch

"Gratch": Irish Traveller slang for a stopping place.
"Tan" in Romany slang means the same.

To make the noise you hear inside your head when you close your eyes very tight. Only the person gratching can hear the noise.
Person 1: What are you doing squinting your eyes like that?

Person 2: I'm gratching

Gratching

A Gentleman or Gentlewoman's scratching. If there is a part of your body which itches for a scratch, but you are in a public place and don't want to scratch it in an embarrassing manner, you can gratch it.
During the meeting I saw the CEO gratching.
