Noun. Any adult who feels sexual attraction to specifically fictional depictions of characters who’s body proportions closely resemble that of a child regardless of the canonical assigned age.

In Japan, a "Lolicon" refers to a person, usually a man, who enjoys looking at young girls(loli), be it sexually or not.
These lolicons are usually depicted as perverted people.

A Lolicon is a person of any age that is attracted to 𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨 that have 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 and characteristics, the said characters could or could not be underage but that doesn't really matter since 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙣❜𝙩 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩 (lolis). What matters to most people is that the characters look like children and to them that means that a lolicon is a pedophile, there aren't actually any studies that have proven that all lolicons are pedophiles, there are studies that have proven that pedophiles like to watch lolicon instead of real children in an attempt to hold back their urges to get sexually involved with children. There are many lolicons who are attracted to fictional characters but not real children, there are of course exceptions but you can't really say that lolicon = pedophile. Because in reality there are pedophiles that don't enjoy watching lolicon and instead prefer the real counterpart (child pornography). At this day and time, the best thing a lolicon can do is keep their sexuality a secret because the most common reaction they would get is to be labeled as a pedophile even though that 𝙞𝙨𝙣❜𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚. As a 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 , lolicon and pedophile are 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 since a pedophile is a person who is affected by a 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 from birth (pedophilia), While a lolicon is a person who can start enjoying lolicon 𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 thus they aren't actually a pedophile (not all of the times).
