Manteca otherwise known as "teca" town is known for the famous Manteca Waterslides. Now that the waterslides are being torn down to build housing developments this little central valley town will have nothing to be known for.

Manteca is a melting pot for racial integration and spillover, specifically black, Asian, Latino, whites and other races moving to the Central Valley from the San Francisco Bay Area. Just like people move from L.A. to the Inland Empire and the Antelope Valley (Palmdale & Lancaster).

Housing in the Central Valley brings former San Francisco Bay Area residents to find cheaper housing to live in. Manteca will soon be like Palmdale, Lancaster, and San Bernardino.
