Michigan Roll

A roll of paper currency with the small bills in the middle and the large bills on the outside to make it appear to be more valuable than it actually is.
John tried to impress the ladies by flashing his cash, but they knew it was a Michigan roll.

Michigan Rolling Stop

Term used when a driver does not come to a complete stop at a stop sign, and instead slowly rolls through the intersection when no cross traffic is present. It is the same as a California Roll but performed by drivers in Michigan.
"Aren't you going to stop?"

"I did. Michigan Rolling Stop."

"Right. I'm sure the cop behind us totally didn't notice."

Michigan bank roll

A thick wad of currency (large bills) secured with a rubber band.
"The store clerk's eyes got big as Joe pulled a Michigan bank roll out of his pocket. (This may have originated in the 1920s when there were illegal gambling houses in Detroit. When pursued by the authorities, the crooks would flee to Ohio).
