A War Pig

A Stereotype used in gaming to describe someone who overestimates their own skill.
The person may be very skilled at the game but they will always think they are better then they are.

It originates from the "Hat stereotypes" series on youtube by Sound Smith and refers to the item in Team Fortress 2 by the same name.

the difference between "war pig" "and battle toad" are that if you refer to a chick as a "war pig" you are putting emphasis on how fat she is (stubby is too politically correct). while, if you refer to a chick as a "battle toad" you are emphasizing how short she is.

Thinking you’re better than others because of what you wear, how you act, what you say, or what you own

A Stereotype of a player or players who uses a certain weapon/character/or item. The stereotype is not of the weapon itself but of the players who use it.

“War pigs” are at all skill levels however they will over estimate how good they actually are. This will often lead to them getting into situations that will lead to their death.

The term was coined and closely associated with the Team Fortress 2 YouTube’s Soundsmith.
