Backhand-therapy
parenthetical element: meaning needs "to be beaten", or referring to domestic violence. Added to a sentence to describe a woman or child that should be shown the back of one's hand to modify their behavior to not be "bitchy", or "bratty".
When observing a scene in which a man's girlfriend spoke back, or insulted him in front of his friends in a "bitchy" tone. His friends were noted to say, "Did you see the way Carla treated Darren this afternoon, she's in need of some backhand-therapy!
