Oʔ
North-central/upper-midwestern variant of “ope,” pronounced simply like “oh” with a glottal stop at the end. Residents of northern Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Dakotas of Scandinavian extraction do not pronounce the “p” in “ope.”
