The Gen9 region in Pokemon. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet takes place in Paldea. The starters are Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. Paldea is based off the Iberian Peninsula (Spain, Portugal, Andorra) like how Galar is based off of the UK and Kalos is based off of France.

A Spanish like region to the bottom west of Kalos, the towns are rather bland and forgettable but the really interesting thing lies in Area Zero.

I explored Area Zero in Paldea last year, and showed off the treasure I found at work! Everyone was interested!
